Choosing curriculum can be one of the scariest aspects of homeschooling, both from the overwhelming options, to the pressure to "get it right" in your choice. Some of the best advice I got starting out was to not sink a ton of money into curriculum when you start. Finding your child's learning style will save you a lot of headache. So be sure to check out the FREE options first, give yourself time to learn your child, and really research your options. Another thing, don't feel locked in. If a curriculum isn't working, change it. This could be midyear, end of year, every year, whenever it stops working change it.
