SUMMARY:Challenger Learning Center Homeschool Day Sept 2023
DESCRIPTION:The CLC offers hands-on STEAM programs for students participating in homeschool programs. Join us on the second Friday of each month during the school year from 9-12 to learn new skills and discover new interests! \nHomeschool Days registration is completed based on each student’s age. Ages 5-7 will be grouped together\, ages 8-10 will be grouped together\, and ages 11-14+* will be grouped together. \n*If you believe your 14+ homeschooler would like to join Homeschool Days\, please call our Education Manager & Camp Director Jordan Doucette for more information at 850-645-7787. \nCOST: The cost is $15 per student per program. CLC Family Membership Holders pay only $10 per program! Homeschool Days participants must be signed out before 12:15 p.m. to avoid a $1/minute late charge. \nREGISTRATION: The registration form must be completed and submitted before 12:00 p.m. the Thursday before the program. Programs are limited in size; therefore\, registrations will be processed on a first-come\, first-serve basis. \nSeptember 8th\, 2023: LEGO Experts\nStudents will learn STEAM concepts through LEGO-based activities. Activities may include LEGO printed paintings\, engineering a Rube Goldberg machine with LEGOs\, racing a LEGO balloon-powered car\, and more.

DESCRIPTION:Kids’ Art Classes will be held at Gather Community Center (4358 Midmost Drive Suite A Mobile\, AL) in our “Maker Room” up front and will be taught by local mom and Studio Pure artist\, Ms. Elsa!\n\nThursday\, Sep. 7 @ 4:30-5:30 p.m.: Paint Pouring\nIn this one-hour class children ages 8+ will explore fluid art through acrylic paint pouring! Parents may also participate along with their child. Cost: $25 per participant.\n\n**Please complete the registration form and send payment three days prior to your chosen class start date in order to reserve your seat.***\n**Open play is paid separately and is not included in the price of the class.
