Please check the dates below for Ripley’s exciting and educational opportunities! \nReady for an adventure? Walk-up discounts are offered at $10.99 +tax per student and immediate siblings living in the same household (minors)\, $19.99 +tax/ teaching parents. You must provide either a letter of intent\, attendance record\, or homeschool ID card upon admission to receive this discount. \nCreate a homeschool ID \nOn September 20\, 2023\, the theme is Earth Layers/Plate Tectonics. \nThe Earth works like a giant puzzle! Come learn about the layers of the Earth and how these puzzle pieces work together to form mountains\, trenches\, and more. \nReservations must be made 72 hours in advance of the program date for both-in person and virtual programs. Please note that each program will have a cap and this may be reached prior to the 72 hour mark. \nTo reserve your spot\, please book in advance. \nHomeschool families with annual passes may attend programs for $6.00 + tax per child (grades K–8th). \nHomeschool families with annual passes may attend labs for $8.00 + tax per child (ages 9 and over).

SUMMARY:Challenger Learning Center Homeschool Day Sept 2023
DESCRIPTION:The CLC offers hands-on STEAM programs for students participating in homeschool programs. Join us on the second Friday of each month during the school year from 9-12 to learn new skills and discover new interests! \nHomeschool Days registration is completed based on each student’s age. Ages 5-7 will be grouped together\, ages 8-10 will be grouped together\, and ages 11-14+* will be grouped together. \n*If you believe your 14+ homeschooler would like to join Homeschool Days\, please call our Education Manager & Camp Director Jordan Doucette for more information at 850-645-7787. \nCOST: The cost is $15 per student per program. CLC Family Membership Holders pay only $10 per program! Homeschool Days participants must be signed out before 12:15 p.m. to avoid a $1/minute late charge. \nREGISTRATION: The registration form must be completed and submitted before 12:00 p.m. the Thursday before the program. Programs are limited in size; therefore\, registrations will be processed on a first-come\, first-serve basis. \nSeptember 8th\, 2023: LEGO Experts\nStudents will learn STEAM concepts through LEGO-based activities. Activities may include LEGO printed paintings\, engineering a Rube Goldberg machine with LEGOs\, racing a LEGO balloon-powered car\, and more.
