SUMMARY:Challenger Learning Center Homeschool Day Oct 2023
DESCRIPTION:The CLC offers hands-on STEAM programs for students participating in homeschool programs. Join us on the second Friday of each month during the school year from 9-12 to learn new skills and discover new interests! \nHomeschool Days registration is completed based on each student’s age. Ages 5-7 will be grouped together\, ages 8-10 will be grouped together\, and ages 11-14+* will be grouped together. \n*If you believe your 14+ homeschooler would like to join Homeschool Days\, please call our Education Manager & Camp Director Jordan Doucette for more information at 850-645-7787. \nCOST: The cost is $15 per student per program. CLC Family Membership Holders pay only $10 per program! Homeschool Days participants must be signed out before 12:15 p.m. to avoid a $1/minute late charge. \nREGISTRATION: The registration form must be completed and submitted before 12:00 p.m. the Thursday before the program. Programs are limited in size; therefore\, registrations will be processed on a first-come\, first-serve basis. \nOctober 13th\, 2023: Animal Encounters\nDo you love animals? We do too! Come explore animal behavior\, animal ecosystems\, and more during our Animal Encounters Home School Day. Activities may include crafting dog toys\, watching Superpower Dogs in IMAX\, and meeting therapy dogs hosted by TMH. Stay for a special event in our planetarium hosted by North Florida Wildlife Center to learn about animals taking flight.
